Meet the Drink

It's Pride Month, baby! I knew I had to celebrate with a colorful cocktail so this one goes out to my lavender oat milk latte bisexuals and the gays who played "Lavender Haze" by Taylor Swift on repeat in 2022. The Lavender French 75 is a delightful twist on the classic French 75 cocktail, infusing a floral elegance into the traditional mix. This refreshing drink combines gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup with a touch of lavender syrup for a fragrant and slightly sweet flavor profile. Topped with champagne, this cocktail is the perfect refreshing summer drink!

Lavender French 75 Recipe

Ingredients:
For the lavender syrup:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of organic cane sugar
- 1 tsp dried lavender
For the drink:
- ½ cup ice
- 2 oz gin
- ½ oz orange liqueur
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 oz of lavender simple syrup
- Your choice of prosecco or champagne
Steps:
1. Prepare the Simple Syrup: Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan, then stir in the sugar until it dissolves. Add the dried lavender, remove from heat, and let it cool completely.
2. Keep it Cool: For optimal results, place the glasses in the fridge to chill while the simple syrup cools.
3. Twist & Shout: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin, orange liqueur, lemon juice, and the cooled simple syrup. Shake vigorously.
4. Add the Sparkle: Pour the mixture into the chilled glasses, then top off with prosecco and garnish with frozen berries. Salute or cheers!

- 1 oz lavender simple syrup
- ¾ cup of your favorite probiotic soda (Olipop, Poppi,Culture Pop Soda, etc)
- Top off with Sparkling Water
