Healing your Inner Child One Party at a Time.

Are you ready to relive your favorite summer camp memories with a grown-up twist? This July, our party theme of the month is all about embracing the great outdoors, rekindling that carefree summer camp spirit, and having a blast with friends. From nostalgic decorations to fun activities and camp-inspired snacks, we’ve got everything you need to throw the ultimate summer camp-themed party for adults. Let's dive into the details!

  • Vibe/Decorations:

To create the perfect summer camp vibe, start with rustic and natural decorations. Think wooden signs, fairy lights, and plaid table cloths. If you have a tents set one out and even have a sleepover in it for a cozy, nostalgic touch. Use mason jar lanterns to enhance the outdoor feel. Don't forget a campfire setup (real or fake) as the centerpiece for your gathering – it’s essential for roasting those delicious treats later!

  • Food & Drink:

No summer camp experience is complete without some classic campfire cuisine. Stock up on hot dogs, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate for s'mores. Set up a DIY hot dog bar with a variety of toppings like relish, onions, mustard, and ketchup. For drinks, consider a mix of nostalgic favorites like lemonade and our cocktail of the month: the long island iced tea! Serve them in camping-style tin cups or red solos to stay on theme!

  • Attire:

Encourage your guests to dress the part by sporting their best summer camp attire. Think camp counselor chic with khaki shorts, graphic tees, and bandanas. For an extra touch of authenticity, provide everyone with name tags and friendship bracelets. Don’t forget to snap plenty of photos – everyone will love getting into character and embracing the camp spirit!

Activity No. 1

Classic Camp Games

Bring out the inner child in everyone with some classic summer camp games. A water balloon fight is sure to be a hit – just fill up a bunch of balloons and let the fun begin! Alternatively, set up a huge slip-n-slide with a hose and a tarp for some wet and wild memories. These activities are perfect for cooling off and adding a playful element to your party. Looking for something more chill? Get out the string and beads and make some friendship bracelets! I know the Swifties have some supplies to spare.

Activity No. 2

S'mores & Dogs

As Spongebob said: let's gather around the campfire! Provide long skewers for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, and set up a s'mores station with all the fixings. This is a great time for sharing stories, singing campfire songs (C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G song), and enjoying the simple pleasure of good company and gooey treats.

Activity No. 3

The Grand Finale

s the sun sets and the campfire dies down, it's time to bring out Drunk and Board, the ultimate party game to cap off your summer camp evening. Packed with ridiculous dares, wild confessions, and crazy competitions, Drunk & Board ensures everyone is having a blast. Each challenge is handpicked to keep the energy high and the laughter flowing, making it the perfect way to end your party on a high note.
